Summary: Local Image Describer does not collect, transmit, track, sell, or share personal data.
Image analysis, OCR, generated descriptions, edits, and diagnostics are processed locally on your Mac. The vision-language model is bundled with the app. The app does not require an account and does not upload your images or results to a server.
The app accesses only files and export locations that you select through macOS. Source images are read for analysis and are not modified or deleted. Removing an item from the queue removes only the in-app record and any app-managed temporary copy. Full source paths are excluded from exports by default.
The app does not include analytics, advertising, telemetry, tracking, or third-party data collection. It does not use tracking domains. Any export you create remains under your control at the location you choose.
If you contact support by email, your email provider and the recipient's email provider process the information you choose to send under their own policies. Do not send private images or confidential results unless necessary and authorized.
If this policy changes, the updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
