Local Image Describer is an offline macOS app for batch image descriptions, OCR, film-shot analysis, and structured export.

System requirements

Apple silicon Mac
macOS 14 or later
16 GB unified memory minimum; 24 GB or more recommended

Getting started

Add static JPEG, PNG, HEIC, HEIF, TIFF, or WebP images with the Add Images button or drag and drop.
Choose an analysis preset in Analysis Settings.
Select the queue items you want and click Start.
Review and edit results, then export to XLSX, CSV, or JSON.

For support, email weilifilm@gmail.com. Include the app version, macOS version, Mac model, available memory, and any error code shown in the app. Do not attach private source images unless they are necessary and you have permission to share them.

Content rights

Only analyze images that you own or are authorized to use. Local Image Describer does not provide, host, or distribute third-party image libraries.
